Meet Ben, the owner behind Gernatt Pest Solutions
Gernatt Pest Solutions is a family-owned, locally owned pest control company based in Gowanda, serving homes and businesses in Buffalo and nearby counties. We were founded to raise the standard of professionalism and safety in pest control throughout the Buffalo area.
Our story
Ben started Gernatt Pest Solutions because he believed the people doing the work deserved better. In pest control, he saw good technicians stretched thin, rushed from job to job, and not given the respect or support they needed to do the job right. He also saw what that meant for customers: quick visits, short answers, and problems that came back.
Ben wanted to build something different. A company where technicians are trained, supported and treated like the professionals they are, so they can slow down and do careful work. A company where customers get an unrushed visit, a clear explanation of what we found, and a plan that makes sense for their home or business.
That is still the idea behind every job we do. When we show up, we take the time to look, listen and get it right, because that is how Ben always thought pest control should work.
Meet Ben
Our team is led by Ben Gernatt, a certified expert. Ben has over 20 years in pest control. With dual NYSDEC certifications, we don't just spray and leave.
How we work
Inspect. Exclude. Treat. Maintain. We don't just spray and leave: our process includes exclusion work, targeted treatments and proactive maintenance. Every application is explained so you know what's being used in your home. Whether it's wasps in the deck, ants in the kitchen, mice in the fall or bats in the attic, you'll hear what we found and what we plan to do, in plain English.
